John was Crow.

John Bull Tail was born on 29 Sep 1921, son of Simon Bull Tail (~1876–~1939) and Stella Pretty Sweat House (1882–1928).^[1]

John married Rena Rosebud Bird In Ground (born on 3 Nov 1928 in Crow Agency, Big Horn, Montana, United States; daughter of Sampson Bird In Ground and Media Anette (Blaine) Bird In Ground). Their children were:

• Leland Bull Tail (1943–1981)
• Linda Blaine (1948–2008)

John died on 3 Jun 2002, aged 80. He was buried in Lodge Grass Cemetery, Lodge Grass, Big Horn County, Montana.^[1]
